In 2012 The Roundhead Association were granted permission by the City of Gloucester and Gloucester Docks to commemorate the Parliamentary forces of the English Civil War.
The event commenced with the various Regiments, Living History and Cavalry units forming up at Glouceter Docks followed by a March through the centre of Gloucester returning to the Docks for a display of arms. Members of our Living History Groups manned displays at the Gloucester Folk Museum. We have been invited to return to Gloucester 23/24 March 2013 when we will again parade in the Docks and march through the City with additional presentations througout the centre of Gloucester.
We are grateful to our colleagues from the King Army who marshall the event for us.
